The Space Telescope Science Institute will serve as the Science and Operations Center for JWST as it does for Hubble. More detailed information about carrying out a science program using JWST can be obtained at the Operations pages maintained by Space Telescope Science Institute.

• To know whether your observations are going be feasible with JWST, use the sensitivity information to obtain guiding numbers on imaging and spectroscopic sensitivities.

• The JWST Mission Simulator (JMS) is the main tool to calculate sensitivities.

• JWST science simulations are a part of the program to investigate feasibility of JWST observations.
